I am the founder of Dell’s corporate blog Direct2Dell that we launched in 2006. That made me the first Dell employee paid full time to handle social media, and also made me one of the first corporate bloggers for a Fortune 500 company. I still believe in the centralizing function that a blog serves in the broader social media landscape. These days, I spend a lot more time helping others get onboard the Cluetrain. In other words, I’m passionate about teaching others how to use social media to connect with customers in a way that’s helpful to them.
