PodcastingLaunching a podcast, today, is easier than it has ever been.  However, there’s much more than simply hitting the record button and publishing your content to the web if you are looking to produce a high quality, successful podcast.

We have assembled experts, from the podcasting community who are prepared to share their best tips for creating, distributing and monetizing podcasts. Whether you’re just getting started, looking for advanced techniques or you just want to network and grow with other podcasters, joining the podcasting community in New York City, this June, is the place to make that happen.

Mur Lafferty

Mur Lafferty is a writer, podcast producer, gamer, geek, and martial artist. Podcasting since 2004, she’s produced over ten podcasts, including Geek Fu Action Grip, I Should be Writing, and Escape Pod. Her books released via podcast include Playing For Keeps, Marco and the Red Granny, and The Afterlife Series. She currently writes a weekly column for The Escapist and has a book coming out with Orbit Books in 2013.

Evo Terra

For over a decade, Evo Terra has made his living as a digital business strategist. In short, he solves problems. Along the way, he’s become entangled in the publishing community. First it was co-hosting an author interview show that became a nationally syndicated radio program & podcast. Then it was launching a serialized free audio book distribution service. He was even asked to write a couple of books in the “for Dummies” series on the topic. Now he’s focusing on authors, leveraging his knowledge in digital marketing, branding and doing business online to help them ultimately sell more books.

Karin Hoegh

Karin Hoegh is an independent podcasting consultant in Copenhagen, Denmark. Company name: PodConsult. Karin has attended the podcasting conferences in US since the very first Podcasting Expo in 2005. She has more than 20 years of experience in radio, online news, radio-hosting and writing. Now Karin Hoegh is the go-to-person for individuals, businesses, organisations and educators, who would like to take advantage of podcasting. She is the author of a Danish book on strategic audio and video podcasting released September 2010
