I just launched such a new social news hub website devoted to bloggers, podcasters, video podcasters, new media folks, and those who generally dig techy stuff. http://www.blogfloat.com. Hopefully my fellow new media folks will latch onto the site and utilize it's features to help expand the blogging and podcasting world to new heights!
